The participants are presented with a set of songs comprising a healthy mixture of: current chart songs, some nostalgic pop for the mums and dads, and some good solid musical theatre standards.

Music rehearsals start immediately and each participant is given a learning CD of specially arranged backing tracks to take with them to do their homework.

Dance rehearsals are intense and we expect nothing but full commitment, stretching pupils’ abilities to their limit.

We give a basic storyline and, through improvisation, develop characters and dialogue to piece together the songs.

Eventually we put all the elements together and run through the show, giving notes, making changes and rehearsing where necessary.

By the time we get to performance, we have a well honed piece tailored for cast and audience.

The result is an entertaining, hybrid musical - a unique entertainment that all the participants have helped create.
